About Café Bohoo
A breakfast café in the Nordstadt that takes mornings seriously: with a menu between Istanbul and brunch, a room of rattan and light, and guests who like to stay a little longer.
The morning decides
Many people reach for their phone first thing in the morning: news, emails, social media. We think the first hour of the day deserves more. A breakfast you sit down for, that you share and where nobody watches the clock.
That is how Café Bohoo came about. And our motto: every morning a sun that wakes you with confidence and a good appetite for breakfast and for life.

The kitchen
Our menu has two roots. One is the Turkish breakfast spread: sucuk, menemen, sigara börek, acuka, sheep's cheese, olives and honey. The other is brunch: eggs Benedict, sourdough toasts, pancakes and bowls.
We make our own hummus, pesto, granola, berry purée and lemonades, and bake cakes every day. For the bowls, the yoghurt and the milk, you choose: vegan or not.
The room
White-painted brick, arches with lit niches, rattan lamps in every size, chairs with Viennese cane and a long upholstered bench. A room for bright mornings that looks completely different in the evening, when the lamps take over.
The neighbourhood
Arndtstraße is in the Nordstadt, between Welfengarten, Leibniz University and Klagesmarkt. A café for the neighbourhood, for coffee between two lectures and for long Sundays with friends.
It gets busy at the weekend.
